How I Cook My Spaghetti Squash

How I Cook My Spaghetti Squash

Here is how I cook my spaghetti squash.

I cut it down the middle–length-wise. Use your muscles–it’s a little hard to do.

Then scoop out the seeds and middle stringy stuff.

Get a jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with sides) and cover the bottom with water.

Pre heat oven to 400.

Place squash flesh side down in the water.

Bake for about 45 minutes or until the water is mostly gone, and the squash is soft when poked with a fork.

Turn over carefully and scoop out with a fork. It will look just like spaghetti.

While its warm, I usually put a mixture of grass fed butter, fresh minced garlic and chives on it.

But you also can put a spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce on it or roasted veg–the possibilities are endless.

Enjoy!
