Simple Detox Salad
Adding greens to your nutrition plan is a simple and effective way to cleanse your body.
I love making salads the star of my meals.
This is my favorite detox salad recipe–it’s simple, clean and offers a simple detox for my adrenals and liver.
I love helping my body do what it does naturally.
Afterall, the body needs an “assist” from us to maintain our health and healthy aging.
Ingredients:
2 cups arugula or greens of your choice (dandelion, watercress and endive are great for spring detoxing)
½ cup red onions, sliced thin
1 cucumber, chopped
½ cup carrot, chopped
¼ cup radish, sliced thin
1 avocado, cubed
Juice from one lemon
1T ground flax
Sea salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup of sunflower seeds
Directions:
Chop vegetables and mix in a large bowl. Top salad with avocado and sunflower seeds. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with sea salt, pepper and sprouted triomega flax.
