7 Simple Daily Tips for Healthy Aging

It is an awareness that everything you do matters. It matters to your cells, your organs, your brain, your skin and your DNA.

It matters to your immune system.

Here are 7 simple things you can do everyday to wisely choose your aging process:
1. Drink water–hydrate well and alkalinize your body before your day begins.

Use my lemon water elixir and for an extra boost, for extra GI support and alkalinity (start with 1/4 tsp and work up).
2. Visualize your day–the good choices you are going to make, and the success you are going to have, visualize energy, visualize healing, visualize youth–then take 5 deep, slow  breathes before jumping out of bed to start your day. Your mind is a powerful tool in your health. Use it!
3. Begin each day in gratitude, and practice gratitude daily. Gratititude and prayer increase the vibration of your cells. The more your cells vibrate, the more energy they have, the more alive they are, and the healthier they are.
4. Move your body. Just move it any way you can. I love to run–it does so much for me mentally, physically, and spiritually. But not everyone likes to run. So find something you love to do. Go for a walk, hike, swim, bike rebound tramp, yoga, pilates, hula hoop. It really doesnt matter what you
do, just Move. Your lymph system and blood need the increased circulation that comes when you move your body.
5. Nourish your body with clean whole foods. This is foundationally important and will make a huge impact on your health if you choose clean whole foods, mostly plant, mostly raw, over the traditional fast-food, processed, preserved, foods.

6. Get grounded in nature. Reconnecting with the Earth is something we all need to do. We get energy from the Earth. So take a walk bare foot in the grass, dirt, or sand. And visualize yourself receiving energy from the Earth.

7. Breathe. Really breathe. Deep to your belly button breathe. You need to do this several times a day. Preferable outside in the clean, fresh air. Visualize the clean air filling your lungs and tissues with oxygen and nourishing your cells.

If you can do these simple things mindfully and consistently, you will begin to see a dramatic shift in your health, immune system and aging process.

Live Life Optimally, and age well!
