Dried Apples (with Cinnamon and Sugar)

Dried Apples (with Cinnamon and Sugar)

Dried apples are easy and delicious!
I like them natural and unsweetened.

For an extra sweet treat, I make cinnamon sugar apples every now then for my kids.
They dont last long!

Dehydrator
Pineapple Juice
Cinnamon
Sugar
Plastic bags

Wash and Dry apples.
Slice apples (I like to leave the skin on, and keep them round, but can peel and slice them up if you prefer)
Dip apple slices in the Pineapple Juice
Let them drain in a colander
Add the sugar and cinnamon to a plastic bag, then add the apple slices and shake them up.
Lay the apples on your dehydrator tray.
Dry for 8 hours at 105 degrees.
The apples should not be wet or soft, if they are let them dry longer.
Store apples in mason jars.
Great, quick snacks, and great for food storage, too.

Enjoy!

Live LIfe Optimally,
Kristie
