Best Raw Cookie Dough EVER
When my kids are craving sugar, treats, snacks and “something good”, I make this healthy snack alternative.
SO, Instead of hitting the DQ (Dairy Queen) for the 1500 calorie cookie-dough blizzard, I make this raw cookie dough option instead–made with a protein super-food. I make enough to last a week–which means I have to double this recipe.
I love serving these to my kids as a healthy after-school snack alternative!
The Best Raw Vegan Cookie Dough Ever
Prep time: 10 Minutes
Yield: Makes 10 cookie dough blizzard balls (feel free to double the recipe–they go fast!)
Cookie Dough Ingredients:
1/2 c Peanuts
1/2 c Cashews
2/3 c Pitted Dates
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
3 Tbsp Grade B Maple Syrup
1 scoop vegan protein
Optional: 1/3 Cup Cacao Nibs or vegan chocolate chips
Directions:
Place all ingredients (except cacao nibs/chips) into your food processor and blend until cookie dough consistency.
ProTip: If dry, and not sticky, slowly add 1T water until dough reaches desired consistency.
Remove from food processor, place in a bowl and fold in cacao nibs/chips.
Gently roll into balls, or scoop using a small melon scoop, and place into freezer on a serving tray.
Freeze for 30 minutes before serving. Serve immediately when taken from freezer–these get soft quickly.
Will last in freezer for 2 weeks–if you’re lucky and your kids don’t find them 🙂
