Homemade Sore Throat Remedy
Waking up with a sore and scratchy throat can be frustrating. And it can be a sign of worsening illness to follow. It’s often a sign that your immune system is being over-run, that you are run-down, and that opportunistic viruses are taking advantage of your less than stellar health state.
When I wake up with a sore throat, I mix together one of my grandma’s old recipes and drink it up. I always feel better within the hour. This simple homemade kitchen remedy is easy to make and hasn’t failed me yet. Increase the amount of apple cider vinegar up to 4 T if desired for an extra immune punch.
If you wake up with a sore throat, give this mix a try:
Ingredients:
Warm water,
2 T raw honey,
2 T apple cidear vinegar,
dash cinnamon,
2 T fresh lemon juice.
Mix well.
Drink.
