This yummy dip goes amazing with strawberries, bananas, apples, or pineapples. Sometimes just a spoonful straight up is all you need.
It also serves as a great frosting for brownies, cake, and other dessert recipes.
I love to dip fresh fruit in it, then freeze it on wax paper–for delicious frozen chocolate dipped strawberries, bananas and pineapples. YUM!
Ingredients
2 cups hazelnuts (filberts)
1 1/2 cups real brade B maple syrup or coconut nectar
1/4 teaspoon Original Himalayan Crystal Salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup coconut oil (at room temperature)
3/4 c GSG Superfoods Chocolate
Directions
1.) Soak hazelnuts overnight
2.) Dehydrate hazelnuts at 105 degrees for several hours, until mostly dry
3.) Process nuts, salt, and cinnamon in food processor until they become creamy
4.) Add the other ingredients and process until smooth
Makes 3 cups and will last several weeks.
