Watermelon Slushy
I love summer slashes–and this is a healthy alternative to the traditional iced cones or snow-cones.
I like to freeze these and make them into healthy popsicles–when I do this, I add chunks of strawberries to the molds for a fun fruity appearance.
Ingredients:
2 c Strawberries
1 lemon, peeled, and sliced
3 c watermelon
1 T raw organic honey
1 c ice
Mint
Directions:
Blend well, add more watermelon to thin to desired consistency; add more ice for a more slushy consistency.
Pour into glasses,
Top with a sprig of mint
Enjoy in the summer sun.
