Raw Flax Crackers

(Recipe adapted from GSGLife)

Ingredients

1 cup ground Flax

2 T whole flaxseeds

¾ cup filtered water

3 tsp tamari (or Braggs Liquid Aminos)

3 tsp raw organic honey (or grade B maple syrup)

⅙ tsp onion powder

⅙ tsp garlic powder

Directions

1.) Mix the full flaxseed and sprouted flaxseed in a bowl

2.) Combine the water, tamari, honey, and onion and garlic powder in a jug and mix until everything is thoroughly mixed

3.) Pour the water mix over the flaxseed mix and stir thoroughly

4.) Leave to sit for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring regularly, until the mix becomes thick, but not too stiff

5.) Spread mix thinly over one dehydrator tray

6.) Using a spatula, score making lines (creating squares)

7.) Dry at 105 degrees for 12-36 hours, flipping crackers once after 5-6 hours for crispier crackers

8.) Break crackers along scored lines

9.) Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Enjoy!
