How to make a GREAT close:
Do’s:
- KNOW your close, cold. Practice it, write it, and don’t wing it. Know exactly what YOU want to say and how you’re comfortable doing it.
- Once you get to the end, don’t be tired. Dig deep into your deepest enthusiasm and energy here. Remind yourself, THIS IS WHAT YOU CAME HERE FOR, and they can’t change their lives if they don’t LEAVE WITH THE GOODS.
- People don’t know what they need until you tell them what they need: You need the protein, flax and minerals to make a significant impact on your health…Join me in the quart a day smoothie challenge..
- Make it your own—Robyn’s script can be adapted to fit your personality and what you’re comfortable saying. Just say it with passion and conviction that comes form your own experience.
DON’T:
- Don’t damage your own credibility at the beginning. How to announce this is your first class.
- Don’t make your class too long—45 min is perfect. Wrecks sales.
- Don’t tell people not to buy, or to buy later.
- Raffle tickets: don’t tell people you’re going to give them a ticket for asking a question. Then people just ask dumb questions and hijack the class. Instructor Heidi doesn’t explain a system of rules; she just handed out a ticket here and there for people being engaged in various ways.
- Don’t send home to sign up. Have your Ipad there and do it for them. Know your signup process to make it easy.
