Very Berry Green Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
• 3 cups filtered water
• 2 large leaves kale (with stems)
• 3 large handfuls spinach
• 2 cups frozen mixed berries (12 oz bag–look for blueberry, blackberry and raspberry blends)
• 1 banana (peeled)
• 1 scoop vegan protein powder (berry)
• 2 T ground flax
and 2 mint leaves (4 if you want to garnish)
Optional: Ice and mint garnish
DIRECTIONS:
1.) In a high speed blender, blend water, ice, mint, and greens for 30 seconds until smooth.
2.) Add fruit, protein powder, flax, and blend until smooth. Garnish with a few bluberries and a mint leaf. Keeps for 48 hours in the fridge.
