Berry Blast Post-Run Recovery Smoothie–Yum!
Marathon training begins, and with it comes great smoothie recipes.
All of these ingredient nourish, hydrate, alkalinize and repair my body after a long, hard Saturday morning run.
You can enjoy this smoothie anytime, even if you’re not a crazy runner girl like me 🙂
Ingredients
3 c coconut water
1 Â 1/2 Â cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
3 handfuls spinach
1 scoop vegan protein
1 tablespoon sprouted flax
1 teaspoon ginger root (blend it or juice it)
Optional: ice
Directions:
Add more liquid to desired consistency. Blend well and serve.
